To decrease the chances of wearing out, here are easy ways of keeping the luster of your gold plated jewelry. Jewelry Care Tips

Always put your jewelry on last, especially after you have finished applying your make-up, lotions, hairspray, perfume, etc.

When undressing, remove jewelry items first, this will help ensure that necklaces, bracelets, and earrings don't get caught on your clothes and get damaged.

Remove your jewelry before getting in the shower and washing your hands.

Don't wear jewelry in the pool, chlorine and salt water. It can damage your jewelry.

Sterling silver
925 Sterling Silver comprises 92.5% Pure Silver and 7.5% of different metals that add strength to the delicate base material. The remaining 7.5% of metal in 925 sterling silver consists mostly of copper. Sterling Silver and copper are hypoallergenic metals - in other words, it doesn’t cause allergies or reactions.

 

Gold vermeil
How do you pronounce that?  Gold ver - may.

Gold vermeil is pure sterling silver metal with a thick layer of gold coating. It is a layering of 2.5 microns thick of gold plating over 925 Silver instead of just 14k Gold plating. Vermeil jewelry is ideal for the average consumer as it allows them to buy fashionable, high-quality pieces at an affordable price.
